The seed for this journey was the song "Your Intellectual Threat," which grew from an article I wrote on LinkedIn titled "Academia - This One Is For You". I realized the power of music to reach hearts and minds in ways that traditional formats often don't. I believe knowledge should be a universal right, accessible to all, regardless of their background. I don't stick to one topic either: I could be criticising scientific topics, or targeting social injustice, neurodiversity (especially autism), or even identity and what it means to be yourself in a world that rewards conformity.
My aim is to take those fascinating, sometimes complex, topics that capture my imagination and break them down into simple, relatable explanations – all set to a beat. That's the core of 'Learn With A Beat'. To help you dive deeper, I've created dedicated sections for 'The Stories Behind The Songs' offering a clear reference point to understand the inspiration and meaning behind each track. Think of it as citing my sources, but in a way that everyone can grasp.
I don't adhere to a single genre. Instead, I let the emotion of the message guide the music. Frustration might erupt into aggressive rap, as in 'I'm The Revolution', while heartache finds its voice in soulful melodies like 'On My Knees'. Often, I blend spoken-word rap with emotional choruses to amplify the impact of the topic, as you hear in 'Wired For Greed'. Ultimately, my go-to genre is conscious rap, even when I blend it with other genres.
